Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
